About Us

Dylan (he/him) was born in Dinas Mawddwy (10 minutes from Dolgellau) and is a 5th generation funeral director. His predecessors were originally carpenters, and as it was back in those days they also made the coffins for the villages where they lived! Over time funeral care became the main focus of their work and the Welsh funeral director was born. Dyl is Welsh speaking (as are our children).

 

Anna (she/her) is originally from Yorkshire and was a social worker before having children, but now spends her days juggling the children's needs and managing the day to day running of the holiday lets. Dylan and Anna met at a party in the wild Welsh woods in 2010 and the rest is history!

 

Anna is the main driving force behind the holiday business and prides herself on her attention to detail. She tries to listen to all guest feedback to create a welcoming and comfortable space for you to stay.  Anna and Dylan strive to be socially conscious and welcome guests irrespective of who they are, where they're from, how they think, or who they love.

We enjoy walking in the local area, camping, festivals, our family time and our dogs. Dylan has recently rediscovered mountain biking and is regularly out on the trails. We add photos of our adventures onto our Facebook and Instagram pages if you'd like to see what we have been up to!
