Your Host
Hi, I’m Anna, the founder and host of Dolgellau Holiday. I’m passionate about creating beautiful, comfortable spaces for guests to relax in and explore the best of Snowdonia/Eryri. From stylish apartments in the heart of Dolgellau to the peaceful, luxury Scandinavian-style Wnion Wood Lodge. My aim is simple: to offer places that feel well cared for, thoughtfully set up, and easy to enjoy - so you can relax, explore, and make the most of your time here.
Our Story
With a background in social work, I bring a strong focus on attention to detail and being genuinely person-centred. I actively listen to guest feedback and continually refine the spaces to make them as welcoming, comfortable, and easy to enjoy as possible. I also strive to be socially conscious and inclusive, and warmly welcome guests of all backgrounds, identities, and ways of being.

Originally from Yorkshire, I moved to this part of Wales in 2012 and now live in Machynlleth with my two children. I run the business day-to-day and am your main point of contact throughout your stay. Dylan supports the practical side of the business and helps with many of the ongoing maintenance and on-the-ground tasks that keep everything running smoothly.

Dylan is from Dinas Mawddwy and is a Welsh speaker, as are our children. We all share a deep love for Eryri and the surrounding area, and I genuinely enjoy helping guests discover its beauty - whether that’s through walking routes, quiet spots, or places that are a little off the beaten path.
When I’m not juggling family life and running the business, I enjoy walking locally, camping, festivals, photography, gaming, and spending time with my dogs. I occasionally share snippets of our adventures over on Facebook and Instagram if you’d like a glimpse into life here.
